O Farrobo - Novo Alojamento na Ilha do Pico

A Fonte Travel tem imenso prazer e orgulho em divulgar este novo empreendimento localizado na freguesia das Bandeiras, no concelho da Madalena na Ilha do Pico, um espaço recuperado de antigas habitações em ruinas, outrora habitadas por 16 famílias, em quatro casas de pedra, cercadas pela floresta.

Do encontro do Atlântico com a magestosa montanha surge este lugar mágico, entre o verde das árvores e o cinza do basalto.

Neste lugar são ainda visiveis inúmeros trilhos outrora usados pelos antigos habitantes e que hoje se podem explorar a pé ou de bicicleta. Por estes trilhos, que se cruzam com o empreendimento, encontram-se as relheiras (marcas que os carros de bois esculpiram na pedra do chão) ou até mesmo furnas onde antigamente os habitantes iam buscar água.

O Farrobo - New Accommodation in Pico Island

Fonte Travel agency has immense pleasure and pride in divulging this new accommodation located in the parish of Bandeiras, in the municipality of Madalena in Pico island, a space recovered from old housing in ruins, once inhabited by 16 families, in four stone houses, fenced through the forest.

From the Atlantic encounter with the majestic mountain, rises this magical place, between the green of the trees and the gray of the basalt.

In this place are still visible numerous rails formerly used by the ancient inhabitants and that today can be explored on foot or by bicycle. Along these tracks, which intersect with the enterprise, are the rugs (marks that the ox carts carved in the stone of the ground) or even furnas where the inhabitants used to get water.
