Acaba
de ser lançado, no novo auditório do Museu dos Baleeiros nas Lajes do Pico, o
livro "Sabores das Ilhas" do chef António Cavaco.
The
book “Sabores das Ilhas” (Flavours of the
Islands) by António Cavaco, was presented at the new auditorium of the
Whaling Museum in Lajes do Pico.
It
is an extensive collection of Azorean cuisine recipes, with a strong focus on
the history and ethnography of the Azores.
The
ceremony included the presence of the Mayor Roberto Silva, the Museum´s
Director Manuel Costa and a large and enthusiastic audience.
At
the end, there was a Pico wine and tuna tasting.
